Michael Burr
Michael Burr is a professional photographer with over 25 years experience shooting a wide variety of subjects both in the studio and on location. A graduate of Harpur College he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1969 and did a one year tour of duty in Viet Nam as an English language instructor to the Republic of Viet Nam Air Force, a situation which provided him with opportunity to shoot a large number of B&W photographs of Sai Gon and environs. After discharge from the Air Force in 1971 he lived in Venice, CA before moving to Puerto Rico where he lived for over 5 years while travelling extensively throughout the Caribbean. He returned to California to pursue his photographic career in 1978 working in a number of studios in the L.A. area. From 1993 to 2003 he was the principal studio photographer for the NFL's Creative Services Division where he was responsible for shooting ads, book illustration, point-of-purchase materials, posters, product catalogs, events, celebrity players and aerials at 3 Super Bowls. After 27 years in Santa Monica he recently relocated to the Belmont Heights section of Long Beach where he has a studio. |

Mr. Burr currently provides high-quality photographic services to a variety of clients including: DK Publishing, Media Projects, Inc, MediaPix, Inc., Nha Magazine, VH1, Antioch University, Billy Blanks Enterprises, SpinPhotos, Inc., The National Football League, Shoreline Publishing, Khmer Arts Academy and Good Times Video, Inc. among others. His work also frequently appears in books and magazines.
Mr. Burr is available for assignment photography and also has a stock library consisting primarily of images of aviation and South-East Asia where he travels regularly.
